A Wintry Floral Whirlwind

Each year we offer a unique collection of Winter Wreath options.

All of the wreaths are made by me (April) , just for you! We open our pre-order window now and offer pick ups starting November 22nd. 

We recognize some folks like their items before Thanksgiving, however fresh evergreens will not look their best for Christmas if they are delivered too early, especially with our recent unseasonably warm temperatures. 

Our goal is to exceed your expectations. All items are designed by April, handcrafted with quality and attention to detail. No two items are exactly the same and creative freedom means choosing the best natural elements available, at that moment.

We are a small flower farm located in southern York County, PA, a short and scenic drive 30 minutes north-west of Hereford, MD (our home Farmer's Market). I always advise to take the back-roads here for maximizing your relaxation for the day!

We are also about 30 minutes from York, Gettysburg and Westminster.

We are not open to the public and do not offer pick your own flowers, however we open up our quaint Garden Cabin for workshops, private events, and we have a small destination shop for grabbing our own-grown seasonal bouquets and garden-inspired gifts. 

We share a driveway with our amazing neighbors so I do not publicly post our residential address. It's a respect thing, not an elusive thing!

I recognize that my products are not cheap. I do not set my prices to gouge customers or over-inflate my income. I set my prices using an industry standard (Floral Industry) that follow a formula for fair pricing. The formula considers the design materials used (flowers, vessels, forms, etc.) and my time and talent to create the final product.

This is a career for me, not a hobby or creative past-time that I do in my spare time. In-fact, I have not had a lot of spare time in over 20 years as a creative professional.

Recent trends have many people “side-hustling” floral design and flower farming because social media has (as it does) presented it as a very romantic way of life. A story. This has created a problem for those of us who are industry professionals to compete with inaccurate pricing from the novices who are often looking for feel good sales, not sales that pay bills.

The sales I make do pay my bills. They pay ever-increasing insurance premiums, they pay college tuition for my daughter and they pay for my groceries. Your purchases pay for me to make a living and keep a small-business open while I also teach Pre-K (just started my 16th year) and tutor students online. 

I do hope you understand. I also understand that not everyone can afford my products, but I will do my best to offer a variety of options for all who want a product that is not purchased at a "big box" store or out of a "cookie-cutter" catalog. You can communicate a budget to me and I will do my best to oblige.
