Sensory Garden Walks
"A garden flourishes with love, tending and a bit of magic."

We offer Sensory Garden Walks for small groups and invite folks from 5-years old to 85 years-old to come and experience the garden. We currently offer 3 themed walk-abouts led by me (April).
All people can experience sensory fulfillment and find joy in the garden as they explore it through creative approaches that encourages them to use their senses: look, listen, touch, taste, smell, move, balance and self-regulate.
A sensory garden intentionally incorporates all eight sensory systems. For children and youth, nature-based experiences are crucial in promoting positive physical, mental, and cognitive development. These experiences not only support healthier lifestyles and emotional well-being but also enhance creativity, focus, and problem-solving skills.
Ensuring that young people have consistent, enjoyable and accessible opportunities to engage with nature in ways that are meaningful and fun is worthy.
Sensory Garden Walks take about 45 minutes and we offer optional add-ons to enhance and extend your experience.
Picnic in the Garden
Storytime for Kids
Botanical/Seasonal Crafts
Flower Readings (adults only)

"Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help."
We need thoughtfully designed sensory gardens because everything we experience, understand, and respond to in life is rooted in our sensory systems
Our gardens are available to enjoy, however we are a private residence and require pre-booked visits.
Our goal is to provide you a peaceful and magical garden experience.
